OAuth Sign in

The first time you start GDocsDrive, you will be redirected to a Google account Sign in web page, where you can sign in with your email and password.

Note: Unlike most client apps that ask for your credentials directly, GDocsDrive uses the Google recommended login method, called OAuth sign in, to let you input your email and password on Google’s sign in web page instead of in the third party app. This method is a much safer login method and is being used more and more by web and local applications.

After you have successfully signed in, you will be asked to authorize GDocsDrive to access your Google Docs data. You can click “Allow access” to continue, or deny this request by clicking “No thanks”.

After that, a trial version information dialog box will popup. GDocsDrive is not freeware, so you will need to pay for a license after the 14-day evaluation period. You can just click the “Continue” button to continue to evaluate GDocsDrive.
